You can quickly choose the best detergent.

  • Industrial detergent for demanding cleaning. nanowash 10. Washing power easily adjustable with 1/10 - 1/400 dilution. Can be mixed directly with other foaming shampoos.
  • Foaming shampoo for effective washing, nanowash Snow foam for pressure washer or diluted in a foaming bottle.
  • For maintenance and basic washing of coatings nanowash ION. Ionized coating nanodetergent concentrate 1/100. Can be mixed directly with other foaming shampoos.

All Diamondplure detergents are WASH AND COAT type coating nano detergents, they guarantee effective washing results, APR priming and a light coating with every wash. Nothing else is worth using.

When washing a boat, it is always a good idea to prepare a strong cleaning solution in a bucket.

A strong washing solution made in a bucket ultimately ensures clean surfaces – your boat will be free from salt, oils and all impurities that make coating difficult.

Dirt is often stubbornly stuck to the decks, sides and bottom of a boat: salt, grease, oil, algae and dirt form a layer on the surface that makes it difficult for the coating to adhere. That's why we recommend preparing a strong nanowash™ 10 cleaning solution:

  • Heavy-duty cleaning: dilution 1:200 – effective when surfaces are really dirty or salty.
  • Normal washing: dilution 1:400 – perfectly sufficient to keep surfaces clean and shiny.
  • Coating maintenance: nanowash™ 10 not only washes, but activates marine coatings and creates a new covalent bond between the surface and the coating with each wash.


Rinse the boat thoroughly

Once the boat has been thoroughly washed, thoroughly rinsing the surfaces is crucial.

A generous fresh water rinse removes detergent residues, salt and impurities, allowing the nanox siO2 marine coating to fuse perfectly with the surface.

Remember to rinse especially carefully:

  • Around deck railings and brackets
  • Door and window seals
  • The roots of the mast and rigging
  • The area around the bottom water intakes and propeller


Nipple information for boaters:

Salt water easily crystallizes in small cracks and around seals. If salt remains on the surface before coating, it weakens the formation of the covalent bond. Careful rinsing ensures long-lasting protection and maximum hydrophobicity.

At this point, it is worth considering that there is a clear practical difference between marine deck and race products, both in application and where the products can be applied.

nanox® siO2 marine deck coating is applied with a spray bottle in a SPRAY AND WIPE style and the deck product is used on surfaces where there is a risk of slipping, because the deck does not make the surfaces slippery.

nanox® siO2 marine race coating is always applied by spray. The coating is sprayed onto the side and bottom structures, never onto the deck.

Now the dirtiest work is done and we can start the coating work.

Marine deck coating is sprayed onto the deck and deck surfaces. It's an easy job - SPRAY AND WIPE - method. Spray the coating onto a dry, clean surface and wipe with a microfiber cloth. No need to polish or otherwise bother, the fusion reaction occurs immediately. You can coat practically all surfaces on the deck, the coating does not work on fabrics.

Hybrid coating requires polishing for the best possible result.

Marine race coating usually requires machine polishing of the bottom to achieve the best possible result.

Marine Race coating is sprayed onto surfaces in a three-layer SPRAY AND WIPE style. Apply the coating to an area of ​​approximately 2m2 and wipe the surface until smooth.
