nanox® siO2 marine race – Ceramic coating for the bottom and sides of the boat

Marine Race is a spray-applied SPRAY AND WIPE hybrid coating that makes the boat's hull and sides waterproof, dirt- and growth-repellent.

Designed for situations where traditional coatings and anti-fouling paints are no longer sufficient.

Same technology as in the Graffex® series

Marine Race utilizes the exact same ISO 2810 natural weathering-tested APR™ crosslinking technology as Diamondplure's acid-resistant Graffex® coatings.

This means a chemically fused covalent bond that does not flake off but wears away with the natural surface – even in continuous seawater.

Field tests speak for themselves

A four-month field trial conducted in a freshwater lake demonstrated the effectiveness of marine race:

  • The boat was in the water the entire season.
  • Only a light layer of slime stuck to the bottom – no vegetation, no dirt.
  • When cleaned with a pressure washer, the bottom immediately returned to its sparkling shine.
