Diamondplure™ coatings are designed as part of a complete maintenance system. Regular washing keeps the protected surface clean, corrective maintenance restores covered properties, and an existing coating can normally be continued without sanding or removing the old treatment.
Use the lightest suitable maintenance method according to the surface and level of contamination. The coating is not automatically worn away when water repellency or gloss weakens — its properties may simply be covered by dirt, minerals or traffic film.
HYDRONANO CARBON can build on existing graphene protection. nanox® SiO₂ can later be renewed on a properly cleaned and intact surface. Machine polishing is only needed when the underlying surface has scratches, abrasion or washing marks that must first be corrected.

Maintenance is not based on a fixed schedule or one universal chemical. First assess the surface and the contamination. Normal dirt is handled with fast maintenance, covered coating properties with corrective maintenance, and demanding contamination with stronger cleaning when required.
For regularly maintained surfaces with normal dust, road dirt and light organic contamination. The foam cleans quickly without making routine maintenance unnecessarily heavy.
For situations where water repellency, gloss or cleanability appears to have weakened. ION removes deposits that cover the coating and supports the properties of the existing protection.
For heavily contaminated machinery, transport equipment and demanding surfaces. Use when mud, oils, silage residues, road film or industrial contamination require greater cleaning power.
Stronger chemistry is not automatically better maintenance. The correct method is the lightest one that removes the contamination and leaves the existing protection ready to continue working.
Minerals, traffic film, grease and detergent residues can cover the coating. Corrective cleaning may reveal the original protection without requiring a new coating.
An intact Diamondplure™ coating normally does not need to be sanded or removed before further treatment. The surface is cleaned according to its condition, and the protection can then be maintained or renewed directly on the existing system.
HYDRONANO CARBON acts as a building maintenance treatment for existing graphene protection. It can reinforce areas where the surface properties have weakened without removing the old coating.
When nanox® SiO₂ eventually requires renewal, the intact surface is cleaned thoroughly and treated again. The old coating normally does not need to be mechanically removed.
Machine polishing is not required because of maintenance or renewal alone. It is needed only when the underlying surface has scratches, abrasion, oxidation or washing marks that should be corrected before further protection.
The coating system can normally be continued without aggressive stripping, sanding or repeated polishing. This saves time and preserves the underlying material.
